Associate Retail Success Manager

Role brief

Salsify is looking for a highly-motivated, growth-focused, results-driven associate retail success manager to support account strategies with some of the largest retailers in North America. This is a key strategic position with high visibility across the company and with the executive team. 

How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Lead the day-to-day business relationship between Salsify & a named set of Retail accounts, with support and guidance from senior level Retail Success Manager as needed.
  • Influence and execute an account success plan that is managed jointly across the account stakeholders and internal stakeholders.
  • Nurture relationships with key stakeholders within named accounts, facilitating regular touch bases to ensure alignment on program plan, track progress on defined objectives, and resolve escalations.
  • Compile reporting on target KPIs for named accounts as needed, sharing findings with key internal and external stakeholders and calling out wins, losses and opportunities to continue driving business forward.
  • Be a subject matter expert on the account within Salsify and serve as a resource for escalations.
  • Drive brand adoption by identifying opportunities for joint marketing campaigns that help the retailer expand its merchandising programs and raise awareness of Salsify solutions.
  • Partner with Salsify’s product marketing team on enablement for Salsify’s go-to-market teams.
  • Support cross-functional tasks with internal stakeholder groups, including Product, Customer Success, Marketing, and Sales.
  • Advocate for Salsify brands within a retailer to ensure that brand content is leveraged to its fullest capacity on the retailer’s family of websites.
  • Proactively uncover and surface new opportunities for brands to improve the retailer’s eCommerce experience through richer interactions powered by Salsify.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and competitive landscape to provide thought leadership for named accounts.

You'll Enjoy This Role If You Have:

  • 1-3 years experience in client-facing, problem-solving positions in fast-paced companies. High tech is preferred, though competitive suppliers or agencies are also valuable.
  • Previous retail experience is beneficial but not required.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity; a willingness to be proactive and resourceful in an effort to identify challenges, surface opportunities and collaborate on solutions.
  • A “people person”: you are enthusiastic and energized by spending your day interacting with many different people.
  • High Emotional Intelligence and the ability to communicate effectively with many different types of people.
  • Experience in client services, client success, consulting, business development, or solutions engineering.
  • Effective written, verbal, and presentation communication.
  • Driven, ambitious, and optimistic. Approaches their responsibilities with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Creative and entrepreneurial in your approach to your work.
  • Highly organized. Experience executing on defined project plans, including tracking statuses, providing feedback and driving the necessary steps to completion.
  • Curiosity to learn about new businesses and industries, and you can quickly grasp and make effective use of industry- and company-specific terminology.

This position is expected to work Eastern Time Zone hours.
