Job Description
- Test Automation Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Maven, Eclipse/IntelliJ, Cucumber, Selenium, and Rest Assured.
- Environment Setup: Configure and manage environments for executing Selenium UI tests and Rest Assured API tests.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest quality of software through rigorous testing and adherence to best practices in software quality engineering.
- Continuous Integration: Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to facilitate continuous testing and deployment.
Qualifications
- Certification: ISTQB or equivalent software testing certification.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Java, with experience in setting up Maven paths. Familiarity with Eclipse or IntelliJ IDEA, including setup of Cucumber and Rest Assured dependencies.
- Experience: Proven track record in automated testing and quality assurance, with a strong understanding of Selenium and API testing frameworks.
Additional Information
- Candidates must be based in South Africa (Only).
- Primarily work from home but candidates must be prepared to be in the office when required.
- 24 months initial contract to extend or convert to perm.
- Rate is negotiable depending on experience and current remuneration.
- Strictly South African Citizens & PR holders.
