To succeed in the role, you will have:
Proven track record of successful work as a data scientist/ data analyst/ BI analyst in a product company (high load - must)
Good problem-solving skills and a high level of self-sufficiency
Advanced skill in querying data using SQL, Python, or Equal
Good knowledge of Redash and QlickView
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to solve problems
Strong presentation and data visualization skills and great attention to detail
Ability to describe complex topics in simple terminology
Good level of spoken and written English (Upper+)
Preferred additional qualifications:
STEM degree or equivalent experience
Knowledge of Clickhouse
Experience with the online gambling industry domain
Practical knowledge of Machine Learning and Deep Learning packages is welcomed
Pet projects and hobbyist interests in data analysis and machine learning outside work are welcomed (e.g., Kaggle competitions)
Practical experience with workflow management tools (Jira) and collaboration software (Confluence)
What will you be doing?
Analyzing, visualizing, and communicating insights from our data regularly and ad-hoc
Coordinating access, ingestion, and storage of data from various corporate sources to ensure consistency and reliability
Guiding stakeholders through a compelling data-driven story to nurture optimized decision-making across technical, product, and commercial business functions
Defining and owning the data strategy for Playson based on current business priorities
Exploring and adopting new technologies and services for a better data-driven culture
Designing effective and clean reports in the internal BI tools and Redash
Making meaningful predictions using data
Promoting data literacy in the organization and educating the stakeholders to use existing and new data tools (e.g., through newsletters and internal training)
Sharing knowledge, establishing best practices, and questioning the status quo
