JOB TITLE --- Buyer
LOCATION ----- Golden Valley MN - 55422 (Hybrid Role – 3 days onsite / 2 days remote)
Duration ----- 6+ Months Contract to Hire
Pay Rate - $33/hr w2

Top MUST HAVE SKILLS:
- 5+ years Buyer experience
- Buying experience in Electronics and Mechanical
- Defense or Space Buying experience a BIG PLUS
- Strong SAP background
Responsible for purchasing and negotiating materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors. Evaluates vendor quotes and services to determine most desirable suppliers. May require a bachelor's degree and 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. May report to an executive or a manager.
- MUST own the Purchase Req to PO process – this is the majority of the work (about 75%)
- High dollar, complex PO work experience – several years of experience with documenting purchase order details in various regulatory environments (FDA, FAA, DoD, etc.)
- Team player, able to work cross-functionally with technical teams to document reasons behind making purchases
- Not looking for someone who has not purchased for many years (more than 5-7 years since last purchasing role)
