Superside is hiring a Creative Strategist, Performance Studio to connect media, audience intelligence, creative strategy, and performance data into smarter creative decisions. Working closely with the General Manager of our new Performance Business Unit, you'll help build this capability from 0 to 1, turning performance signals into clear hypotheses, testing agendas, and briefs that creative teams can act on. You'll need to understand how modern paid media works, find the creative story inside the data, and help make every round of creative stronger than the last.
What You'll Do
Translate business goals, audience intelligence, and media strategy into clear creative hypotheses and testing plans.
Partner with client and agency media teams to understand channel strategy, audiences, placements, optimization signals, and measurement.
Build creative learning agendas that define what we're testing, why we're testing it, and what we expect to learn.
Turn requests for creative volume into structured learning agendas with purposeful variation and clear hypotheses.
Analyze creative performance across channels, formats, and executions to understand why work performed, not just what the metrics say.
Translate platform and campaign data into clear recommendations that creative teams can act on.
Lead recurring performance reviews with clients, media partners, and creative teams, turning findings into a prioritized agenda for the next cycle.
Pitch the Performance Business Unit's solutions to clients and contribute to expanding the business.
Connect short-term performance signals with broader brand strategy, customer understanding, and business objectives.
Build reusable frameworks that capture winning patterns, failed hypotheses, and creative learnings over time.
Partner with Product and AI teams to turn manual analysis into repeatable capabilities within Superside's Performance Engine.
What You'll Need to Succeed
6–8 years of experience across media strategy, communications or connections planning, performance marketing, creative strategy, social strategy, or effectiveness.
Experience working at the intersection of media and creative, ideally within a media agency, integrated agency, performance creative business, or sophisticated in-house marketing organization.
Strong understanding of paid social and digital media, including audiences, placements, formats, optimization, and measurement.
Fluency in performance metrics and confidence working directly with platform and campaign data while looking beyond the metrics to understand creative performance.
Proven ability to turn audience, media, and performance insights into testable creative hypotheses and actionable briefs.
Strong communication skills, with the confidence to present recommendations, facilitate performance conversations, and challenge weak briefs with senior stakeholders.
Hands-on experience using AI-assisted tools for research, analysis, testing, or creative strategy.
Comfort operating in ambiguity and helping build new capabilities, processes, and ways of working from the ground up.
