OpenTeams is looking to hire a full-time Director of Engineering with architecture, systems engineering, design, and development experience to join our software team. In this role you will build and lead the team responsible for the design, implementation, operation, and scaling of the OpenTeams platform and services. You will also work with the executive team to guide and support the creation of new product offerings.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for leading the engineering team including hiring and contracting.
- Responsible for development, execution, and maintenance of OpenTeams engineering projects.
- Responsible for designing and implementing processes, workflows, standards, and best practices in software development and site reliability engineering
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development
- Deep experience with and understanding of HTTP and RESTful architecture and design principles
- Deep experience with client-side technologies for web and mobile applications
- Previous management and leadership experience developing and maintaining applications
- Prior experience with the following technologies is a plus: Python, Django REST Framework, FastAPI, Next.js, Typescript, React, Vercel, Postgres, ElasticSearch, GCP.
- Understanding of AI/ML and emerging technologies
