VP / Director of AI Engineering – Computer Vision
Location: Greater Toronto Area (Hybrid – Mississauga preferred)
Role Overview
Our client is seeking a senior engineering leader to take ownership of the technology vision, engineering organization, and platform evolution for a rapidly scaling AI-powered operations company.
The company has built a mission-critical platform that combines computer vision, AI, video intelligence, sensors, and enterprise integrations to transform how large-scale logistics and industrial environments operate. The platform supports automated workflows, real-time decision-making, and operational intelligence across distributed sites throughout North America.
This is an opportunity for a hands-on technology executive to shape the next stage of growth by scaling the AI engineering organization to support significant expansion.
The successful candidate will partner closely with the Founder & CEO, CTO, and operational teams to translate business objectives into scalable technology solutions.
Company Growth & Investment
Our client is a rapidly growing technology company delivering AI-driven security and operational intelligence solutions for logistics and industrial environments.
The company’s platform brings together:
Computer vision and AI-powered analytics
Remote video monitoring
Sensor integrations
Enterprise logistics systems
Real-time operational workflows
In 2024, the company secured a significant equity investment from an established private equity firm, representing its first institutional capital raise since inception. This investment is enabling the company to accelerate growth, expand its technology platform, strengthen its engineering capabilities, and scale its presence across North America.
This role represents a pivotal leadership opportunity during a period of significant transformation and expansion.
