The Role:
This is a great opportunity to re-shape healthcare by utilizing your counseling experience.
- The expert will provide emotional, spiritual and religious support for people on family-forming journeys of all religious backgrounds and spiritual beliefs
- The required shift for this consultant role is between M-F ~2-5 hours/week with the possibility of increasing hours based on utilization.
- Understand current reproductive and family forming topics and trends.
- Utilize experience and skills to engage in discussions and support others
- Lend expertise or knowledge to participate in continuing education programs for Carrot employees as needed
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives and audits to continue to drive an experience that is safe, compliant and of the highest standards
The Team:
The team consists of a diverse group of individuals with expertise in areas such as fertility, mental health, nutrition and pregnancy. They have a passion for continuous learning and education with an evidence-based approach.
All of them care deeply and are committed to helping individuals:
- Understand their fertility and family-forming options
- Optimize their overall and reproductive health
- Navigate the fertility and family forming journey from both a clinical and an emotional standpoint
Minimum Qualifications:
- Formal training and/or professional experience, including but not limited to: chaplaincy and/or spiritual counseling, in providing emotional, spiritual and religious support in a healthcare setting for people of all religious backgrounds and spiritual beliefsKnowledge about fertility and family forming options
- Superb listening skills and an ability to empathetically support patients of faith on their fertility and family forming journeys
- Motivated to expand knowledge on fertility topics
- Ability to function well from a confidential and private work-remote environment (this is a 100% remote role)
- Flexibility to adapt with evolving business needs
- Must have reliable online and digital resources available for use
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a fertility clinic or hospital setting
- Fluent in any additional language skills is a bonus but not a requirement
