Title: Fullstack Engineer (Odoo)
Location: San Antonio, TX (Remote)
Clearance: US Citizen (Top Secret Eligible)
About this role:
- Rackner is seeking a Fullstack Engineer who will build, manage and support an Odoo ERP implementation for Platform One in a containerized, Kubernetes based environment
- Platform One is a DoD enterprise service capability intended to make the DoD DevSecOps initiative a reality by leveraging industry best practices, open-source software such as Kubernetes and containers, and commercial solutions to instantiate CI/CD pipelines at various classification levels.
- Rackner is working with the Platform One program to support these initiatives and provide technical services and expertise for the program’s success.
We are seeking professionals with:
- Strong knowledge and experience in Odoo development
- Proficiency in Python programming (5 years of experience)
- Strong knowledge in PostgreSQL database administration
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker containerization
- Experience working with AWS
- Experience in other technologies or programming languages is a plus
- 1+ year of Odoo development experience
- 1+ year of ERP experience
- Experience with Odoo SW, AWS, and cloud technologies
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Development, ICT, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Excellent presentation skills and ability to work well with multiple teams
Skills/Responsibilities:
- Ability to transform user requests into functional Odoo workflows and applications
- Capability to translate business rules into Odoo product, inventory, and analytic dashboards
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Maintain product, variance, price lists, and service catalog through quarterly reviews and updates
- Provide expert CRM, ERP, and Odoo-based guidance and support to and on behalf of the P1CE team
- Support an integrated Government/multi-contractor team based Agile environment
- Effectively manage and support the Odoo ERP system, provide technical expertise, and maintain a high level of proficiency in relevant technologies and programming
