Job Description
- Define the ZCU/VCU hardware architecture to support current and future needs.
- Identify, develop, and realize both physical and functional architecture designs from concept through production.
- Support technical and complexity analysis for new features and design changes throughout the ZCU/VCU product lifecycle.
- Ownership of architecture decisions and the resulting design artifacts which include technical diagrams, user manuals, simulations, proof of concepts, constraining requirements (specifications), interface definitions, and technical literature.
- Close collaboration with System, HW, and SW developers/architects to ensure the ZCU/VCU HW architecture fulfills all stakeholder needs now and into the future, both technically and strategically.
- Leading hardware design decisions to support In-Vehicle Infotainment, ADAS, Propulsion, Secure Gateway, Firmware Over the Air, and other features/domains through the selection of SOC/MPUs, memory devices, serializer/deserializers, A2B/audio, networks (ETH/CAN/LIN), and other EE component peripherals.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Embedded Systems, Engineering or related degree field
- 5+ years of overall experience
- Good knowledge: ISO26262 standard.
