Role brief

Who We Seek:

Reporting to the Head of IT in Tel Aviv, IT Ops Engineers are responsible for cloud-based services and infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code, with a strong focus on automation and integration between services. 

What you’ll do:

  • Be an active part of the global IT team. Share responsibilities and contribute to the success of the global IT unit
  • Participate in automation efforts across all parts of the IT operation, partnering with various leaders across the security team, R&D, the People team, and business units
  • Participate in the management of our SaaS back-office stack (Google Workspaces, Okta, Atlassian, Slack, Zoom, etc.)
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities for IT processes
  • Be part of the IaC efforts
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot IT issues and come up with solutions
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot users and endpoint (Windows & MacOS) issues and come up with solutions
  • Accurately document and maintain our inventory of technology hardware, software, and resources
  • Establish, document, and implement processes and procedures
  • Skillfully manage relationships with vendors and contractors for all IT-related purposes
  • Update and modify IT infrastructure to address scalability, repeatability, and security
  • Make sure security is foremost in everything you do

What you’ll bring:

  • 2+ years of experience automating IT processes
  • 5+ years of experience as an IT expert supporting SaaS and backend services, preferably at a technology company
  • A cybersecurity mindset: think “security” in every process
  • A customer experience mindset: excited to dig into any issue, big or small, provide empathy and action to support IT customers
  • An automation mindset
  • Proficiency in DevOps tools and automation languages, such as Python, NodeJS, PHP, Terraform, and serverless
  • Experience with IaaS and IaC
  • Proficient in public cloud management: AWS, Azure, and GCP
  • Strive to constantly improve anything and everything, identify issues, provide and implement solutions
  • Ability to identify weaknesses in processes, provide and implement solutions
  • A team player attitude
  • A Project Manager mindset: Independent and capable of leading processes and projects
  • Experience with API-driven processes
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Mature and responsible with confidential information as a natural part of this role
  • Strong communication and documentation skills (you love creating process docs)
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • A very high level of English
