Role Description

The IT Systems Engineer will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining IT systems, including servers, networks, cloud platforms, and security frameworks. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure infrastructure stability, scalability, and security while optimizing performance for business applications.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in systems architecture, network management, cloud services, and IT security protocols, with a focus on continuous improvement and automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networks.

  • Manage and monitor virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).

  • Configure and maintain cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).

  • Implement and manage network security, including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.

  • Perform system upgrades, patch management, and regular maintenance to ensure high availability.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex system and network issues.

  • Develop and maintain automation scripts for system administration tasks.

  • Monitor and optimize system performance and resource utilization.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design and implement IT solutions that align with business needs.

  • Ensure data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans are in place and tested.

Qualifications
