Position: (LatAM) Full Stack Developer
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 10am to 6pm EST
Salary: 2000 - 3000 USD/ month
Type of contract: Independent Contractor
Role overview
We are actively seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Fullstack Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing existing sustainability applications across diverse platforms like Shopify, Squarespace, and more. Additionally, you will contribute significantly to the development of new features for our current applications and actively participate in creating innovative solutions for emerging platforms.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Utilize React (Chakra UI, Polaris and other modern frameworks) for frontend development.
- Implement Python or Golang for backend development.
- Work with Google Cloud as the primary cloud service provider.
- Demonstrate proficiency in both SQL and NoSQL databases, including MongoDB, Firestore, Postgres, and Redis.
- Lead platform expansion initiatives.
- Drive continuous platform iteration to enhance user experience.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar.
- Strong proficiency in React (Chakra UI + Polaris for Shopify) for frontend development and Python or Golang for backend development.
- Extensive experience with Google Cloud services.
- Proficient in both SQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Firestore, Postgres, Redis).
- Effective communication skills facilitated through heavy usage of Slack.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms is highly preferred.
