Position Summary
The Services Manager is responsible for innovating and leading the Professional Services Data Conversion Team. The Manager will ensure that we have a knowledgeable team that can provide quality professional services. The Manager will work with the team to improve data conversion processes and to develop best practices.
Essential Tasks
- Provide supervision and leadership for Data Conversion team
- Lead the team to continuously improve the process and build team strength
- Work to innovate, automate, and improve the project and implementation processes, including the evaluation of new technologies
- Ensure team has the appropriate training and professional development
- Serve as the escalation path for customer issues or concerns
- Foster cross-departmental cooperation, communication, and collaboration
- Monitor departmental measurements such as utilization to ensure that the team is fully utilized
- Verify team processes for revenue and billings are followed
- Track and report status of implementation to management
- Work with Services management team to ensure that project resources are in place
- Create a culture of ownership and accountability on the team
- Monitor staffing and recommend additional hires as needed
- Provide a timely response to customer inquiries
- Assist Sales with new opportunities during the sales process
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent
- 8+ years relevant experience
- 2+ years management responsibility
- Strong technical background, including experience with MS SQL Server and a solid understanding of relational databases
- Experience with data conversion and software implementation projects
- Experience with Jenzabar ERP products preferred
- Experience with Higher Education preferred
- Experience with SmartSheet or other project collaboration tool
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The pay range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, geographic location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus in addition to a full range of benefits.
