Role brief

Focus Area: Talent Enablement, Learning & Development, Business Partnering

About the Role:
We are seeking a talent enablement champion for the people team. This role will collaborate closely with Interface's business teams to enhance and fortify the foundational pillar of our growth - talent. As a business-facing role, the scope will expand as the business teams grow across geographies and the product diversifies. However, the primary areas of contribution for this role are outlined below:

What You Will Do:

People Consulting:

  • Act as a functional consultant, leveraging your understanding of business coupled with subject matter expertise to support informed decision-making within the business teams to drive growth and mitigate risks.

Talent Transformation:

  • Collaborate with business leaders to design aspirational career paths that foster meaningful conversations focused on learning, growth, and excellence at work.
  • Proactively identify and address any disconnects to ensure all team members are set up for success.

Learning & Development:

  • Design and deliver innovative learning and development programs aligned with organizational goals and employee development needs.
  • Identify training needs through comprehensive assessments, performance evaluations, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop engaging training materials, including e-learning modules, workshops, and seminars.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of learning initiatives through metrics and feedback mechanisms, making adjustments as necessary to optimize outcomes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure programs remain cutting-edge and impactful.

Performance Management:

  • Define and implement a robust performance management process, including goal setting, evaluations, feedback mechanisms, and improvement plans.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on performance management best practices, offering coaching and development opportunities.
  • Analyze performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, collaborating with stakeholders to implement solutions.
  • Promote a culture of continuous feedback and improvement through ongoing performance conversations and recognition programs.

Labour Law and Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws, regulations, and HR policies and procedures.
  • Stay informed about changes to labor laws and regulations, advising management on necessary actions to maintain compliance.
  • Collaborate with legal counsel and other stakeholders to address compliance-related issues and mitigate risks effectively.

  • Demonstrated ability to design and deliver effective learning and development programs that drive employee engagement and performance.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think analytically and translate business objectives into actionable HR initiatives.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and talent management software.
  • Knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work in a start up environment, think independently, and create scalable process.

  • Retention of top performers, low attrition rates.
