Xometry is seeking a Manufacturing Solutions Coordinator to join our Solutions Engineering department, focusing on high-value, complex, and strategically important initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop deep understanding of top supplier capabilities
- Communicate with domestic and international manufacturing partners
- Manage quoting for production programs and build partner relationships
- Support team members through prioritization and technical discussions
- Prepare and submit quotes to sales team
- Provide basic DFM feedback and optimization ideas
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Update and optimize departmental procedures and training
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or business-related field preferred
- 5+ years of sourcing experience, preferably in manufacturing
- Product development experience in custom mechanical manufacturing
- Strong relationship-building skills with external suppliers and partners
- Experience with international manufacturing preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Docs, especially Excel/Sheets
- Ability to read customer drawings, CAD files, and technical documents
- Strong communication skills across all organizational levels
- Sense of urgency and attention to detail
- Analytical mindset with ability to challenge inputs and iterate solutions
