The Role:

Halcyon’s goal is to deliver an anti-ransomware solution that breaks new ground as to what a security product can deliver. Aligned with this goal, Halcyon is looking for a Principal Product Manager to be a foundational leader within the product organization. The Principal Product Manager at Halcyon will be a player coach responsible for driving the success and expansion of the Halcyon anti-ransomware platform.

As a Principal Product Manager at Halcyon, you will be both a strategic leader and a hands-on contributor, responsible for propelling the Halcyon anti-ransomware platform to new heights. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will shape the product roadmap, set ambitious goals, and ensure flawless execution to safeguard commercial and enterprise customers from ransomware threats.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Develop and drive the product vision, roadmap, and strategy, aligning with Halcyon’s mission to deliver groundbreaking security solutions.
Product Roadmap Ownership: Define, own, and drive the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
Product Requirements: Translate business goals and customer requirements into detailed use cases, user stories, and product specifications.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Halcyon founders, engineering leaders, support, sales, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive product growth, execution, and leadership.
Customer Engagement: Engage frequently with customers, prospects, and industry analysts to articulate Halcyon’s value proposition and gather valuable insights.
Business and Technical Acumen: Bridge customer business requirements with emerging threat landscape trends, translating business goals and customer needs into actionable use cases, user stories, and product requirements.
Product Execution: Collaborate effectively with engineering teams to ensure the successful delivery of product features and roadmap milestones.

Skills and Qualifications:

Proven Experience: 8+ years of demonstrated success in product management roles, particularly in cybersecurity.
Strong Communicator: Ability to clearly articulate business goals and customer value, and convey complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
Customer-Centric: Experience interacting with customers and industry analysts, with a focus on understanding and addressing their needs.
Technical Proficiency: Strong technical background, enabling effective collaboration with engineering teams and translating requirements into technical terms.
Leadership Skills: Ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams, driving product success through collaboration and strategic vision.
Pricing and Packaging Expertise: Proven experience in developing and managing product pricing and packaging strategies to maximize market penetration and profitability.
Endpoint Security Knowledge: Extensive experience with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) and Endpoint Protection Platform (EPP) products, demonstrating a deep understanding of the endpoint security landscape.

Base Salary Range: $150,000 - $200,000

Bonus Target: 20%
