The Opportunity
This role will help the company establish a formal procurement function to streamline vendor management and optimize procurement costs. As the company scales, there is a growing need to automate procurement processes, manage third-party agreements efficiently, and protect the company’s budget. The Procurement & Sourcing Specialist will be the first point of contact for budget-sensitive decisions, helping to control costs while maintaining operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Develop a structured procurement function within the company.
- Automate workflows for approvals and vendor management.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure best-value agreements with vendors.
- Align procurement processes with financial goals and budget controls.
- Serve as a liaison between vendors and internal teams.
- Establish and track procurement KPIs to ensure savings and process efficiency
Requirements
- 3 -5+ years of procurement experience, with a focus on software and third-party vendors.
- Experience negotiating contracts in a fast-paced, SaaS environment. (very nice to have)
- Familiarity with automating procurement processes and workflows.
- Strong relationship management with vendors.
- Proven track record of aligning procurement with budget goals.
