Product Manager

Localyze

Role brief

🙌 About the role

We're seeking a Product Manager to support our mission to build a borderless world. You'll be working closely with our engineering, design, and marketing teams to execute and enhance our product strategy and roadmaps. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll ensure that our product launches are successful and that we continuously improve our products. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in managing complex products from ideation to launch and possess knowledge in product lifecycle management.

🎯 What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute the product strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives, and ensure that the product roadmap delivers against those objectives.
  • Define and manage the product roadmap by prioritizing it based on customer needs, market trends, and business objectives. Continuously update and communicate the roadmap to stakeholders.
  • Understand the key journeys and pain points of Localyze's current key users, including HR, employees, and internal case managers, and build solutions that align with our product vision.
  • Oversee the end-to-end product development process from ideation to launch in collaboration with engineering, design, marketing, and other teams. Ensure that products are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high quality.
  • Develop product messaging and positioning that clearly communicates the product's value proposition to customers and differentiates it from competitors.
  • Communicate the product roadmap, and key prioritisation decisions to the Leadership Team for buy-in as well as showcasing the product direction to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Plan and execute product launches, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and prepared. Work closely with marketing to develop launch plans and materials.

💫 About You

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

  • Have at least 2 - 3 years of recent experience in product management in the tech industry, ideally in a SaaS start-up environment.
  • Think in terms of big picture, but deliver on the details.
  • Turn incomplete, conflicting, or ambiguous inputs into solid action plans.
  • Demonstrate a bias towards action.
  • Are a team player who enjoys working closely with engineers, designers, and UX researchers.
  • Are technical enough to ask engineers insightful questions about architecture and product decisions alike.
