The Regional Accountant will support the accounting operations for Argentina, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the regional month-end and year-end closing processes

What will you be doing?

  • Support the accounting operations for the region under their responsibility.
  • Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and regulations.
  • Assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and reports.
  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
  • Support external audits and regulatory filings.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
  • Provide support to the regional accounting team as needed

    • What skills do you need?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent preferred.
  • 3+ years of accounting experience, with a focus on regional or international accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of local accounting standards and regulations.
  • Experience in the fintech or payments industry is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global team environment.
  • SAP Fiori experience - Desirable
  • Advanced/Fluent English.
