The Commercial team at H1 plays a crucial role in creating that future. It is our role to work in partnership with our colleagues and our customers to understand the most valuable products we can deliver to the market. We strive to deeply understand our customers’ needs, and our users’ workflows, to solve their problems in simple and novel ways.

WHAT YOU'LL DO AT H1
We're looking for an RVP of Strategic Sales to lead H1's Strategic Pharma sales team. The RVP will be responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with H1's most strategic accounts, where we have large-scale partnerships exceeding $5M+. In this role, you will lead a global team of Account Managers who provide dedicated relationship management to Clinical, Medical & Commercial-focused stakeholders. In this role, the RVP will drive revenue retention, deep account expansion into new business units, geographies, and use cases, as well introduction of new products to our top accounts.

This is a leadership role for someone who is equally energized by building and expanding C-suite relationships across the world's largest pharmaceutical organizations, growing and nurturing a team of Account Managers, building and executing repeatable sales processes, and partnering cross-functionally with Product and Marketing to position H1 as the platform of choice for global pharma leaders.

The RVP of Strategic Sales will report to H1's SVP, Sales.

You will:
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop a high-performing, global team of Strategic Account Managers, building the talent foundation needed to grow and retain H1's most valuable pharma partnerships.
- Own and grow a defined portfolio of H1's top 20 strategic pharma accounts — driving net-new revenue, deep expansion, and multi-year, multi-million-dollar deal structures across business units and geographies.
- Build and execute a structured account strategy for each strategic account, partnering with Marketing and BDR leadership to identify whitespace and generate pipeline within and across the strategic segment.
- Orchestrate a rigorous renewal management process for high-value contracts ($1M+ deals, $2M+ total account value), ensuring multi-threaded executive relationships and early-stage Executive Business Reviews well ahead of contract end dates.
- Partner with Customer Success to monitor customer health signals, escalate and support at-risk accounts proactively, and maintain a clear view of gross and net revenue retention across the strategic portfolio.
- Lead complex, multi-stakeholder deal cycles — including executive alignment, commercial structuring, and legal negotiation — to close and expand transformational partnerships.
- Represent H1 at industry events, executive roundtables, and strategic customer meetings to deepen H1's brand and credibility at the highest levels of the pharma market.
- Partner with Product to surface insights from strategic accounts and influence roadmap priorities based on the needs and signals of H1's most important customers.
- Support Revenue Operations with forecasting, territory planning, and strategic account analytics, maintaining the highest standard of CRM hygiene and pipeline visibility.

ABOUT YOU
You’re a results-driven sales leader who thrives in high-growth environments and knows how to balance strategy with execution. You bring a strong track record of building and leading teams that win new business while expanding existing accounts.

You’re equally comfortable closing deals, coaching reps, and operating in ambiguity.

REQUIREMENTS
- 15+ years of enterprise B2B sales experience, including 5+ years in a sales leadership role managing teams selling complex, high-value solutions — with demonstrated experience closing and expanding $1M+ deals.
- Deep familiarity with the pharma/life sciences industry — you understand how large pharma organizations are structured, how they buy at the highest levels, and what keeps C-suite, commercial, medical affairs, and R&D leaders up at night.
- Experience leading sales teams selling data, SaaS, or intelligence platforms into life sciences at a strategic/named account level is strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of building and scaling strategic sales teams and consistently delivering against ambitious revenue targets with $5M+ account value portfolios, including strong gross and net revenue retention performance.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex renewal cycles, enterprise-wide expansion motions, and multi-year contract structures within the world's largest pharmaceutical organizations.
- Exceptional executive presence — you operate natively at the C-suite level, are comfortable being onsite with customers, and can represent H1 with credibility, authority, and strategic vision.
- A builder's mindset: you're energized by creating structure, developing elite talent, and refining the strategic sales motion — not just executing it.
- Excellent forecasting discipline and experience driving strong CRM hygiene and operational rigor across a high-performance team.
- East or Central time zone preferred. Ability to travel as needed to support strategic customer accounts, executive relationships, and key sales opportunities across the team's assigned accounts.

COMPENSATION
This role pays $200,000 to $240,000 base salary per year, based on experience, plus variable commission, based on performance, in addition to stock options.

Anticipated role close date: 10/10/2026
