About the team + role
Robinhood is searching for experienced engineers to build and scale our Salesforce Cloud solution to transform our Customer Support, Marketing, and Legal tooling experiences. We are building a team of engineers with 3-7 years of proven experience reliably managing Salesforce Cloud environments. These engineers will have a focus on reliability, ownership, and operations, and will be responsible for building and maintaing a critical technology stack for all of Robinhood's customers!
You'll join Corporate Engineering's Platform tooling team as a Salesforce Engineer, owning the delivery of the Salesforce Cloud roadmap, engineering practices, integrations and scaling strategy for a rapidly growing Salesforce environment!
What you’ll do
- Be responsible for the design, engineering, monitoring, and architecture of Robinhood's Salesforce Cloud Environment.
- Managing the architecture and implementation of Salesforce integrations across a diverse first and third party technical stack.
- Running the operational support and participating in the on-call rotation to ensure high reliability and quick mean time to resolve on incidents.
- Translating business needs to technical architectures and solutions utilizing Salesforce, first, and third party integrations.
- Lead projects to deliver on feature enhancements, reliability improvements, or integrations needs that vary in level of ambiguity and complexity.
What you bring
- 3-7 years of experiencing building and maintaining Salesforce Cloud environments for large enterprise customers.
- A background in using Salesforce Lightning, Apex, and VisualForce to develop customized Salesforce experiences for enterprises.
- A history of continuous learning, a desire to stay up to date on the latest Salesforce technology trends, and a first-principles thinking mindset to problem solving.
- Ability to design, code, test, debug, package, and deploy quality, scalable, and well-documented solutions on the Salesforce platform.
- Experience working with highly integrated Salesforce environments
- A high level of engineering rigor and ownership, with an ability to assess system reliability from a backend infrastructure and user experience perspective.
- Experience utilizing Salesforce Shield and ensuring appropriate security hygiene for both user management and Cloud configurations.
- Strong knowledge and experience with Salesforce configurations, including custom objects, flows, validation rules, and security controls.
- Preferred - Salesforce Administration and or Development certified
