What Need Can You Fill?
The Senior Accountant role will support leading month and quarter close activities while also supporting the Accounting/Finance team on ad-hoc projects. You will work closely with financial leadership to streamline the month-end close process, owning the preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and analysis of results. A successful candidate should be able to work in a distributed team, be eager to learn, and be able to work independently once given direction.
What Will You Will Be Doing?
- Support the creation and delivery of monthly invoices as well as supporting the automation of the invoicing process.
- Review accounts payable and prepare weekly runs, including ACH/Wires.
- Identify opportunities for process/system improvements and drive implementation of the solutions.
- Assist in Concur reporting approvals, reporting, and administration.
- Responsible for monthly close activities including preparing journal entries, expense accruals, and bank account and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare Monthly financial statements.
- Perform technical accounting research as needed and provide supported conclusions for review. and inclusion in the company’s permanent files.
- Assist with treasury functions, including managing positive pay and daily cash posting.
- Prepare audit schedules and support external auditors and consultants, as needed for US and UK audits.
- Conduct all business in accordance with Intradiem policies and procedures.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
What Will You Need To Succeed?
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required.
- Typically requires 6+ years of corporate accounting experience.
- Public accounting experience preferred, ideally in audit.
- Software (SaaS) experience preferred.
- CPA or CPA track preferred.
- Knowledge of USGAAP and internal control frameworks.
- ERP working knowledge–SaaS-based GL package experience (preferably Intacct)
- Ability to travel to internal in-person company events 3-4 times per year.
