What will you do?
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Enterprise Architect with 8+ years of industry expertise to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible for driving the development and maintenance of mission critical digital applications in the cloud. Your focus will be acting as a technical solution lead across multiple Agile teams, delivering critical tools to a federal government agency. You will utilize your expertise in various technologies, including Python, Django, AWS, Okta, Denodo, Salesforce, API development, test automation, and CI/CD.

As a Senior Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible for driving the development and maintenance of mission critical digital applications in the cloud. Your focus will be acting as a technical solution lead across multiple Agile teams, delivering critical tools to a federal government agency. You will utilize your expertise in various technologies, including Python, Django, AWS, Okta, Denodo, Salesforce, API development, test automation, and CI/CD.
Responsibilities:
Develop Architecture Specification deliverables that map business requirements into complete information systems (technologies, processes and people) through collaboration with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders.Architect, design and implement multiple technical solutions in parallel while monitoring the integrations required for each system internally and externally.Architect and implement solutions on AWS, leveraging cloud services to ensure high availability, security, and performance of our applications.Supervise the development and maintenance of APIs to facilitate seamless data exchange and integration with third-party services.Lead the team to implement Enterprise SSO to consolidate authentication processes. Supervise the management of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline the development and deployment process.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, identify performance bottlenecks, and optimize application performance.Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices, and proactively suggest improvements to enhance the development process and product quality.Participate in client events and forums to positively represent the organization and develop and maintain relationships with the industry.As appropriate, play an active role in new client acquisition by supporting business development initiatives to enhance and grow Bixal's business in each of the areas that it works.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Extensive experience (8+ years) in software development.Ability to undergo a background investigation by the U.S. Government and meet eligibility requirements for suitability.Ability to understand the client's business problem, need, or opportunity and to design a solution that completely and correctly addresses the business problem, need, or opportunity without unnecessary enhancements.Ability to lead the architectural design, development, deployment, and technical quality of large enterprise solutions that span multiple technologies and business units. Broad IT industry knowledge with depth in multiple areas, including web development, data storage and management, and CRMs. Strong experience with Salesforce solutions and integrations.Understanding of data warehousing and self-service analytics solutions such as Denodo, Snowflake, and Databricks. Proficiency in Python, Django. Previous experience working in Agile development environments.
Nice to Haves:
Relevant certifications in AWS and other relevant technologies.Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.Familiarity with other programming languages and frameworks beyond those specified in the qualifications.
