Emerging Talent
We are seeking multiple Interns for Summer 2026! These are paid, in-person, 12 week internships based out of Atlanta, GA.
At Flock, we believe emerging talent is the future of innovation. Our Emerging Talent Program gives early-career professionals the opportunity to make an immediate impact on real-world challenges while learning in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You’ll work alongside experienced mentors, build skills that accelerate your career, and contribute directly to our mission of creating safer, thriving communities. From day one, you’re treated like a full-time employee, with real projects, real responsibility, and real impact.
The Opportunity
This is a hands-on opportunity to jump into the day-to-day world of social media at a fast-growing technology company that’s making a real-world impact. As a Social Media Intern at Flock Safety, you’ll help bring our brand to life across platforms: creating content, supporting social-first campaigns, and learning how thoughtful storytelling and creative execution drive awareness and engagement.
You’ll work closely with our marketing team to draft copy, shape visual content, track performance, and contribute ideas that keep our channels fresh, relevant, and compelling. This role is ideal for someone who’s curious, ambitious, and eager to grow, someone who wants to learn how modern brands build community, experiment with trends, and turn creative ideas into meaningful results.
If you’re excited to develop your skills, take ownership of real projects, and be part of a mission-driven team, this internship offers the chance to learn fast, make an impact, and grow alongside a company that’s scaling quickly.
The Skillset
Familiarity with major social platforms and how tone, format, and audience vary by channel
Experience drafting social copy and adapting messaging for different platforms
Some hands-on exposure to sourcing, editing, or lightly designing images and short-form video
Creative thinker who contributes ideas that are culturally relevant, trend-aware, and channel-appropriate
Comfortable using (or eager to learn) social scheduling tools and working from a content calendar
Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage deadlines and maintain a consistent posting cadence
Collaborative communicator who can coordinate with internal partners to gather assets, approvals, and campaign details
Interest in creative campaign development, including brainstorming, trend research, and concept support
Ability to assist with simple briefs, moodboards, or light production tasks to bring ideas to life
Highly motivated, proactive, and eager to learn, grow, and take feedback in a fast-moving marketing environment
Feeling uneasy that you haven’t ticked every box? That’s okay; we’ve felt that way too. Studies have shown women and minorities are less likely to apply unless they meet all qualifications. We encourage you to break the status quo and apply to roles that would make you excited to come to work every day.
Compensation
In this role, you’ll receive an hourly rate of $25/hr. Interns are expected to work a full 40-hour week during the duration of their internship.
Location
This role is based in Atlanta, GA, where you’ll join our dynamic team to collaborate in person and drive innovation. Candidates must reside in or relocate to Atlanta, GA, for this position.
