Traackr is a global SaaS technology company providing a data-driven influencer marketing platform that marketers use to optimize investments, streamline campaigns, and scale programs. Our customers range from some of the world’s largest companies in the beauty and personal care space to digitally native indie brands, which have all made influencer management and engagement a critical practice of their marketing and advertising programs. We are a remote-first company, and for the folks that like to meet in person, we have offices in San Francisco, New York, Boston, Paris, and London. We operate on a culture of mutual respect, with core value pillars including:
Trust. We earn the trust of our team, customers, creators, and partners through transparency, predictability, and integrity.
Diversity. Bringing diverse perspectives to the table results in stronger outcomes. All are welcome.
Value. Through our words and actions, we strive to create tangible value for our customers and peers. We only succeed when our community succeeds.
Ownership. We lead with action. We take pride in solving the hardest challenges and feel accountable for our commitments.
Mutual success. We share goals with each other and with our clients. Alignment, collaboration, and empathy are the cornerstones of our success.
This position is 100% remote, with the understanding that occasional in-person attendance may be required for trainings, meetings, and team gatherings, as determined by your manager.
As a Software Engineer you will work closely with our engineering, product, and design teams to implement the future of our product and build amazing experiences for our customers. To excel, you will need outstanding development and rapid prototyping skills and a keen eye for visual detail at the pixel level. You'll be involved in the entire product development lifecycle including the design, development, deployment and maintenance of new and existing features. You'll write clean and functional code on the front- and back-end for our world-class customers. You enjoy being challenged, love learning, be detail-oriented, appreciate working with people from diverse backgrounds, and be really passionate about what you do.
This team owns the "micro loop" that brands, agencies, and influencer marketing managers rely on to find the right creators, launch campaigns quickly, and measure what's working, spanning discovery, campaign activation, and performance reporting. You'll build AI-powered features that sit at the center of that workflow: agents and MCP-based tooling, LLM-driven insights and recommendations, dynamic chat-based UI (using ag-ui), and the eval frameworks that keep those systems trustworthy, backed by Databricks pipelines and close collaboration with product and other engineering teams. The work is judged by real outcomes: how fast a marketer can build a shortlist they trust, launch a campaign with minimal manual effort, and see clear, actionable results.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications, working on both the frontend and backend of user-facing web applications and microservices.
Own the entire feature development lifecycle, from initial design and coding to deployment and ongoing maintenance.
Perform thorough debugging, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth and efficient software operations throughout the development process.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, proactively seeking feedback and assistance to ensure successful project outcomes.
Participate in and contribute to team discussions on architecture and design decisions, ensuring scalable and maintainable solutions.
Conduct peer code reviews, providing constructive feedback to maintain code quality and best practices.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, supporting their growth through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and best practices.
Continuously improve development processes, tools, and techniques to enhance productivity and code quality across the team.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and integrate them into projects to maintain a competitive edge in product development.
Build and integrate AI agents or agentic tooling (e.g. LLM-powered workflows, MCP-style tool calling) into user-facing features, applying the same testing and evaluation discipline as other production code.
Consider how your changes affect real users and downstream teams; run simple usability checks and adjust based on feedback.
Participate in an on-call rotation for two weeks every two months to ensure system reliability and timely issue resolution.
Qualifications
4-7 years of experience developing web applications, ideally with B2B users and single-page apps.
Proficient in back-end languages and MVC frameworks (experience with PHP 7/CakePHP and Node.js/Sails.js is a plus).
Strong modern JavaScript/TypeScript skills and experience with at least one major JavaScript framework (e.g. Vue.js, Angular, React, or Svelte).
Familiarity with CSS frameworks and preprocessors like Tailwind or SASS.
Experience integrating with third-party and internal APIs, with knowledge of REST or GraphQL design and implementation, as well as authentication methods and flows like OAuth2.0.
Competence in configuring databases and writing complex queries, particularly in MySQL and Postgres. Should also have experience with query builders and ORMs (e.g. Sequelize, Knex).
Experience working with design teams, design systems, and component libraries to implement user interfaces and experiences.
Working knowledge of Python, sufficient to contribute to or integrate with Python-based services.
Comfort with AI-assisted engineering and experience building or integrating AI agents or LLM-powered features, with the discipline to validate outcomes (tests, evals) rather than trust outputs blindly.
Good oral and written communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Proven record of mentorship
Nice to have
Experience with code instrumentation, performance testing, and monitoring tools (e.g. Grafana, Prometheus, InfluxDB, StatsD, Alerta).
Exposure to building scalable, high-availability, and resilient systems.
Experience contributing to shared component libraries.
Experience with rapid prototyping to test new ideas and features.
Familiarity with designing and implementing microservices architecture, and understanding the trade-offs between monolithic and distributed architectures.
Knowledge of querying and processing large datasets.
Practical knowledge of queues, messaging, and event driven systems.
Experience working with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
CI/CD systems
