SafeBase

B2B SaaSCustomer SuccessImplementationTechnical SupportCloud Services
Role brief

As a Solutions Engineer, Implementation you'll be a technical champion, supporting customers throughout their SafeBase journey – pre-sales, onboarding, and beyond. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to help our customers achieve their business objectives through technical solutions.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Operate in a consultative manner and are seen as a trusted partner, subject matter expert and advisor
  • Shape SafeBase’s future by influencing product strategy and priorities based on your deep understanding of customer needs.
  • Own the implementation and configuration of our Enterprise customer’s integrations (e.g. Salesforce, SAML and DocuSign integrations)
  • Regularly communicate with diverse, internal stakeholder groups, including Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success.
  • Engage with the SafeBase Product team to align our product roadmap with customer requirements.
  • Provide ongoing technical support to customers, troubleshooting issues related to integrations, NDAs, and customer error tracking.
  • Act as the technical subject matter expert and clearly articulate the value of SafeBase solutions and the methods to our customers.
  • Act as a technical advisor to key customer stakeholders, liaise with technical professionals such as CISOs, Security Teams, and IT managers to ensure long term success.
  • Champion customer knowledge by crafting comprehensive help articles and technical content (sample code, demos, etc.) to show customers how to implement specific use cases or best practices.
  • Actively look for ways to improve our processes through your experience, team collaboration and customer feedback.

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • 5+ years in a similar role at a B2B SaaS company.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset - previous experience as an early joiner in a technology startup or evidence that you are scrappy with a "get-it-done" attitude. You thrive in an ambiguous environment and want to wear many hats.
  • A track record of working on multiple projects simultaneously, while operating independently to drive projects to completion
  • High-level technical understanding of software and concepts such as Cloud Service Providers, Identity Providers(IdPs), CDN’s (Cloudflare, Akamai, Fastly), Authentication Providers (Auth0), Email Delivery Services (Postmark, Courier)
  • Strong analytic and problem solving skills with a knack for attention to detail.
  • A history of successfully working in similar roles with large enterprise customers. You understand that onboarding new tools at large organization involves managing multiple moving parts.
  • A creative mind. As a small team, major features can take time to build. You know how to take what a customer wants and find alternative ways to enable them to accomplish their goals with the existing product.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (e.g. Sales, Product, Customer Success, Engineering).
  • Experience being customer facing and enjoys helping customers reach their business goals.

Nice to haves:

  • Previous security industry experience. While a formal security background isn’t required, it would certainly help.
  • Prior roles at security software companies and a familiarity with security terms and acronyms.
  • Familiarization with automation tools such as Zapier, Tray, or Tines.
  • Previous exposure to SIEM/Audit tools such as DataDog, Sentry, Fullstory, BigQuery, and Mixpanel.
  • High level understanding of technical concepts such as SAML, JSON, DNS, and REST APIs.
  • General knowledge with a scripting language (Python, Ruby, Bash, and JavaScript) and a desire to expand those skills

Our Benefits:

  • Medical, dental and vision coverage
  • 6% 401k match
  • Work-from-home setup stipend
  • Flexible working hours
  • Equity in our company
  • Generous time off and parental leave policies
