About Eye Security
Eye Security is providing cybersecurity with embedded cyber insurance solutions for organizations in Europe. Headquartered in the Netherlands, we are already over 190 FTEs and continue to grow internationally having secured our Series C funding of €60 Million!
We combine cutting-edge technology with hands-on expertise to detect, respond to, and recover from cyber threats in real time. Our team brings together talent from intelligence, military, tech, and consulting backgrounds — all united by a shared mission: to make enterprise-grade cybersecurity accessible to every business, not just the big players.
At Eye, you'll work on projects with an international footprint, solving real-world challenges and helping to build a safer digital future for our clients.
About this role
We're looking for a Staff Product Manager – Managed Detection and Incident Response (m/f/x) to join our Product team.
As our client base continues to grow rapidly across Europe, this role will play a key strategic part in scaling our Managed Detection and Response (MDR), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), and Incident Response (IR) capabilities — Eye Security's most strategic product area.
You'll take full ownership of the product strategy and roadmap for this space. Collaborating with our engineers, product designers, security operations, product marketing, and cross-functional leadership, you will ensure that our platform evolves with our customers' needs and delivers maximum impact at scale.
This is a senior individual contributor and thought leadership role designed for someone who thrives on autonomy, discovery, and leading cross-functional product development in a fast-growing environment. You'll be the strategic voice shaping our product direction, mentoring product managers, and influencing broader company strategy.
What you will do
Own and communicate the long-term product vision and strategy for MDR, EDR, and IR. Define strategic priorities, influence company OKRs, and drive cross-functional alignment around product direction.
Define and own the product roadmap for MDR, EDR, and IR, ensuring alignment with company vision, market opportunity, and customer needs.
Drive discovery practices to deeply understand customer needs, problems, and pain points.
Lead and mentor product managers and junior team members. Work closely with Engineering, Product Design, Security Operations, Product Marketing, Customer Success, and Sales to deliver successful outcomes and build high-performing teams.
Partner with Product Marketing to define comprehensive go-to-market strategies, product launches, and market positioning that drive competitive advantage.
Manage external relationships and partnerships, especially with EDR vendors and MDR technology providers, ensuring alignment with our MSP and partner strategy.
Stay at the forefront of cybersecurity trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.
Contribute to the evolution of our internal processes, tooling, and product culture. Champion agile methodologies, data-driven execution, and continuous experimentation.
What you will need
7+ years of Product Management experience, with at least 4 years in senior or staff-level roles owning end-to-end delivery of software products in B2B SaaS or similar environments.
Deep cybersecurity domain expertise, particularly in Managed Detection & Response (MDR), Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR), and Incident Response (IR). You can speak confidently about threats, technologies, and market dynamics.
Proven track record of successfully delivering complex software products in fast-paced environments using product discovery, data-driven decision making, and agile methodologies.
Strong business acumen: understanding of go-to-market strategy, sales enablement, and how product drives revenue and customer success.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present complex strategies clearly to technical, commercial, and executive audiences.
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, with comfort in ambiguity and the ability to make sound decisions with incomplete information.
Fluent English; German language (C2) is required
