The role

We are seeking a passionate Talent Acquisition Partner to join our new hub in Lisbon. You will be primarily responsible for driving the recruitment of exceptional talent across our Product Development (PD) functions. This role requires a good understanding of the PD talent market and the ability to build strong relationships with both candidates and hiring managers. You will also have the opportunity to support the wider Talent Acquisition team with hiring across other global locations.

We operate a hybrid work model, and this role will be based in our brand-new Lisbon office. You'll enjoy the best of both worlds: flexibility and the chance to collaborate in a brand new office environment with other GeeCees.

What you'll be doing:

  • End-to-End Recruitment: Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for a variety of roles, from initial briefing to offer negotiation.
  • Support Broader Hiring Needs: When required, support recruitment efforts across PD and other functions such as Finance, Legal, People, and Operations.
  • Strategic Talent Sourcing: Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies to identify and attract top-tier talent, utilising a variety of channels including online platforms, professional networks, local communities, and events.
  • Employer Branding & Outreach: Represent GoCardless, building relationships with potential candidates and promoting our employer value proposition through networking, meetups, and other initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Management: Partner closely with hiring managers and leadership to understand their talent needs, provide market insights, and ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience.
  • Local Market Expertise: Leverage your deep understanding of the local talent market, including compensation benchmarks, competitor activity, and emerging trends, to inform recruitment strategies.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to the refinement of our recruitment processes and tools, ensuring efficiency, fairness, and a focus on candidate experience.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Track and analyse key recruitment metrics to identify areas for improvement and measure the effectiveness of your talent acquisition strategies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the wider global Talent Acquisition team, sharing best practices and contributing to global talent initiatives.

What excites you

  • The opportunity to play a significant role in the growth of our growing and thriving hub in Lisbon.
  • The chance to focus on recruiting for impactful PD teams.
  • Leveraging your deep understanding of the PD talent landscape to attract exceptional individuals.
  • Building strong relationships with hiring managers and contributing directly to their team's success.
  • Being part of a collaborative and supportive global Talent Acquisition team.
  • The prospect of contributing to the continued success of a rapidly growing FinTech company.

What excites us

  • Experience as an in-house Talent Acquisition Partner or Recruiter, with a track record of successfully hiring for Product Development roles (Software Development Engineers, Product Managers, etc.)
  • Experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle with direct sourcing skills and experience utilising various sourcing tools and techniques.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
  • Data-driven approach, using data and insights to support hiring strategies
  • Commitment to creating a positive and inclusive candidate experience.

Base salary range: € 24,000- € 36,000 (gross), (including 13th and 14th salary).

Base salary ranges are based on role, job level, location, and market data.  Please note that whilst we strive to offer competitive compensation, our approach is to pay between the minimum and the mid-point (€ 24,000 - € 30,000) of the pay range until performance can be assessed in role.
