Key Responsibilities
Cloud Architecture & Implementation
Architect and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud solutions for FunToDo.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align cloud services with product vision and business goals.
Continuously evaluate and optimize existing infrastructure for cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
Documentation & Best Practices
Create comprehensive documentation outlining the design, setup, and maintenance of the cloud infrastructure.
Develop and enforce best practices, coding standards, and deployment processes.
Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to coding standards.
Technical Leadership & Mentorship
Lead by example, providing guidance to engineers on best practices, coding standards, and architecture decisions.
Host training sessions, knowledge-sharing events, and workshops to elevate the team’s technical capabilities.
Recruitment & Team Building
Participate in the interview process to identify and recruit top talent.
Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that encourages professional growth and innovation.
Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Pathway to CTO
Collaborate closely with executive leadership to shape the company’s technology vision and roadmap.
Prepare to transition into the CTO role, taking on additional strategic responsibilities such as budget planning and long-term tech strategy.
Required Qualifications
Proven Cloud Architecture Experience: Track record of designing and deploying cloud solutions on AWS, CloudFlare, Azure, or GCP.
Technical Expertise: Background in distributed systems, microservices architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Leadership Skills: Previous experience leading teams, mentoring developers, and establishing best practices.
Excellent Communication: Capable of clearly articulating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Problem-Solving Mindset: Able to assess issues quickly, propose solutions, and drive initiatives to completion.
Expertise in infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, CDK).
Preferred Qualifications
Certification: Relevant cloud certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, etc.).
Startup Experience: Familiarity with the fast-paced nature of startup environments.
Strategic Insight: Experience in shaping technology strategy aligned with business goals, ideally at a leadership level.
Passion for Innovation: Eagerness to explore emerging technologies and implement forward-thinking solutions.
