Job Summary:

The Technical Writer will be responsible for creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation that captures the product flows and setups for each customer environment. This role requires a deep understanding of our conversational AI products and a knack for translating complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly documentation.

 

As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for:

  • Proven experience (3+ years) as a Technical Content Writer, preferably in a technology-focused environment.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation for all product flows and setups specific to each customer environment.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product management, and customer success teams to gather information and ensure accuracy in documentation.
  • Create user manuals, installation guides, API documentation, and other technical documents.
  • Ensure all documentation is up-to-date with the latest product features and updates.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to understand the technical aspects of our products and translate them into clear, concise documentation.
  • Assist in the development of templates and standards for technical documentation.
  • Conduct regular reviews and updates of documentation to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Provide documentation support during customer onboarding and implementation phases.
  • Continuously improve documentation processes and tools to enhance productivity and quality.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in the software or technology industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to write in a clear, concise, and engaging manner.
  • Proficiency in using documentation tools 
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and documentation platforms (e.g., Confluence).
  • Ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with conversational AI or related technologies is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

 

Desired Skills:

  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g., node.js) and APIs.
  • Ability to create visual aids such as diagrams, screenshots, and flowcharts to enhance documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
