The Opportunity

We are seeking a strategic and execution-driven Vendor Services Program Manager to deliver efficiency, cost, and quality improvements across our network of vendors. You will ensure that vendors have the infrastructure and operational processes in place to scale with Flock Safety’s rapidly growing business, all the while tackling some of Flock’s largest and most complex operational problems. The ideal candidate is a leader with strong ownership and bias to action – you are comfortable operating at the lowest level of detail while also driving strategic, scalable improvements across multiple stakeholders.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Identify opportunities to improve existing operations workflows - ultimately you will be responsible for driving better quality outcomes for customers while also lowering cost for the business.

  • Hold a high bar for vendors to ensure they deliver great outcomes for our customers efficiently.

  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to identify and solve some of the most pressing and complex problems the company faces in delivering products to our customers.

  • Analyze data and build reporting to drive cost improvements across our network of third party vendors.

The Skillset

  • 5+ years of experience working in a high-growth, high ambiguity, yet operationally rigorous environment

  • Strong leadership and communication skills - you have a proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and drive consensus in a dynamic fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent operational acumen - you are able to spot deficiencies in current processes and implement improvements that scale.

  • High level of ownership - no problem is too big or outside of your scope. You are willing to jump in, help, and own the outcome.

  • Strong bias for action - You are able to launch solutions quickly, test them, and make changes as needed.

  • Analytics Driven - you are able to manipulate data to make insights and identify opportunities and solutions to problems.

90 Days at Flock

We prescribe to 90 day plans and believe that good days lead to good weeks, which lead to good months. This serves as a preview of the 90 day plan you will receive if you were to be hired in this role at Flock Safety.

The First 30 Days

  • Learn about our current network of vendors, operational workflows, and will be introduced to some of the biggest improvement opportunities for the team.

  • Familiarize yourself with team metrics, reporting, and systems used to maximize efficiency in Vendor Services.

  • Build relationships with internal and external partners.

The First 60 Days

  • Partner with key stakeholders to solve everyday complex problems efficiently and effectively.

  • Tackle problems that our current vendors are facing and drive operational efficiencies and cost savings for Flock.

  • Leverage tools, resources, and relationships to optimize the companies performance

  • Own team level OKRs to drive better outcomes for customers

90 Days & Beyond

  • Actively strive to exceed team goals

  • Demonstrate your ability to solve complex problems effectively and implement solutions that scale

  • Adapt to constantly changing priorities

Location

We’re building the impossible, together. Salary & Equity

The salary range for this role is $110,000-150,000 as well as Flock Safety stock options. Where you fall within the compensation range is based on how well you demonstrate the competencies required for the role, along with years of directly related experience. Due to typically reserving the upper half of our compensation bands for internal growth, you can expect a starting compensation around the midpoint of the posted salary band. During the first interview with one of our recruiters, they can further clarify the exact starting salary.
